to the Pima Community
College Archaeology
Club Website!
All PCC students
with an interest in archaeology are welcome to join the Archaeology
Club. The
Archaeology Club has monthly meetings, plans activities, schedules speakers,
and holds fundraisers.
Club members
can participate in field trips to local archaeological sites, parks and
museums such as Casa Grande and Pueblo Grande, and events such as the annual
southwest archaeology Pecos Conference and the spring Archaeology Expo.
General
meetings are open to all PCC students, staff and faculty. Participation in
club activities and field events is limited to active and associated
club members. For non-PCC individuals, contact staff advisor for
participation opportunities.
The first meeting of the 2009-10
school year will be held October 1, 2009 at 4:00 pm in the Archaeology
Centre. The Archaeology Centre is located in the Tumamoc Building (R) on the
Pima Community College West Campus.
Monthly club meetings are
held at the Archaeology Centre (TBA). Please see the calendar for specific meeting dates.
Club officers will be chosen during
the first meeting.
