is biotechnology?
Biotechnology is the application of biological technologies to
solve problems and make useful products. Examples of the technologies used are
cell culture, recombinant DNA technology, protein biochemistry and bioinformatics.
Biotechnologists may work with biological molecules, living cells, and whole
organisms.
Biotechnology has many medicinal, agricultural, forensic, and environmental
applications.
