Centre for Archaeological Field Training Artifact Identification
Artifact Identification (ARC 180) includes an overview of the artifacts found at archaeological sites in the Tucson Basin.  Students will gain hands-on instruction in the identification and classification of prehistoric ceramics, chipped stone, ground stone, shell, bone, and historic artifacts.  Students use the museum collections, equipment, resources, and facilities of the Archaeology Centre.  Artifact Identification is offered every spring semester.
