In Stone Tool
Making (ARC 062), students will gain an introduction to the technology of
chipped stone tool production. The course includes an overview of the history of
stone tools and production techniques. Participation in making stone
tools is part of the course. The museum collections, equipment, and resources
of the Archaeology Centre include examples of stone tools from
prehistoric periods, as well as raw materials and modern
reproductions.
