Flight Test Log 11

================================================================================

Summary
-------

The fourth camera flight test resulted in successful recording of downloaded
video. Multiple views of two buildings were recorded, and VRML models of the
buildings were later created manually for comparison purposes and for possible
use in simulations.

The test flight ended in a crash when the airplane was occluded by a tree,
which briefly prevented the pilot from getting visual feedback of the
airplane's attitude. There was minor damage -- chunks were taken out of
leading edge of left wing.

Airplane was under manual control. Stereo pairs extracted from downloaded
video.

Comparisons between photos and VRML (Virtual Reality Modeling Language)
models of test buildings.

The VRML models were created by hand, after measuring the actual buildings
with a tape measure. These particular models were not derived from photographs,
although that is more or less our ultimate goal.
