Perennial to 3'. Flowers (1" long) yellow, tinged with orange-red,
pea-like. Leaves (1" long) pinnately compound with 3-5 leaflets.
Stems are thin and "wiry". Fabaceae
(Legume) Family.NATURAL HISTORY: Flowers bloom February through spring. This species is relatively drought resistant and can be found in drier habitats than most other lotuses. |
