DESCRIPTION:
Also called Datura wrightii. Perennial to 4'. Flowers white, petals
fused into long tube to 6" long. Seed is spiny to 2" wide. Leaves
are heart-shaped to 6" long. Solanaceae (Nightshade or Potato) Family.NATURAL HISTORY: Poisonous (all parts)! Flowers bloom April to November. Frequently seen along roads or in washes. Flowers are open at night and closed during most of the day. |
