pursh plantainDESCRIPTION: Also called P. patagonica. Annual to 8". Flowers to 1/8" wide in spike to 1.25" long. Flowers whitish-tan with brown center and have 4 pointed petals. Leaves are simple, smooth-edged, linear, hairy, basal to 4" long. Plantaginaceae (Plantain) Family.
NATURAL HISTORY: Flowers bloom February to May.
