herissantiaDESCRIPTION: Also called Gayoides crispum. Perennial herb or subshrub to 2'. Flowers pale yellow with orangish center to 3/4" wide, with 5 petals. Fruit (shown) is dark, inflated to 1/2" wide. Malvaceae (Mallow) Family.
NATURAL HISTORY: Flowers bloom August to May.
