Desert Tobacco (Nicotiana trigonophylla)
desert tobaccoDESCRIPTION: Perennial to 3'. Flowers white to pale yellow to greenish-white, tubular, to 3/4" long. Leaves simple, smooth-edged, oval to lance-shaped, sticky, dark green, to 6" long. Solanaceae (Nightshade or Potato) Family.
NATURAL HISTORY: Flowers bloom spring to fall. As the genus name suggests, its leaves contain nicotine.
