DESCRIPTION:
Shrub to 40". Flowers golden yellow to 3/8" wide in clusters
at ends of branches. Leaves simple, smooth-edged, linear, with glandular
to 3/4" long. Compositae (Sunflower) Family.NATURAL HISTORY: Flowers bloom in fall; dried flowers (shown here) persist. Plant gets its name from the fragrance of the crushed foliage. Other names given include Aplopappus laricifolius and Haplopappus larcifolius. |
