About Me:

My undergraduate degree is in medical technology, and I worked in hematology and microbiology hospital labs for a couple of years. I soon found that laboratory work did not allow as much patient contact as I would like, so I went on for a master's degree in exercise physiology. After graduate school, I worked as a cardiac rehabilitation exercise physiologist. During this time, I began adjunct teaching at Pima Community College, and fell in love with teaching. Since 2001, I have been teaching full time during the school year, and working in cardiac rehabilitation during the summers. I am fortunate to have two jobs that I absolutely love!

In my spare time, I enjoy doing anything outside including camping, hiking, backpacking, swimming and playing with my dogs.
