Wild Heliotrope (Phacelia distans)
DESCRIPTION: Annual to 30". Flowers bluish-violet in color with 5 united petals to 1/4" wide in terminal coils. Leaves simple but once or twice pinnately divided to 3" long. Stems are reddish and hairy. Hydrophyllaceae (Waterleaf) Family.
NATURAL HISTORY: Flowers bloom February to May.
