Scalloped Leaf Phacelia (Phacelia crenulata)
scalloped leaf phaceliaDESCRIPTION: Annual to 18". Flowers violet-purple, bell-shaped with 5 rounded lobes to 1/4" wide. Flowerhead coiled. Leaves simple, lobed, green, to 5" long. Stems sticky. When crushed, folliage has strong, onion-like smell. Hydrophyllaceae (Waterleaf) Family.
NATURAL HISTORY: Flowers bloom Feb. to May.
