Gooding's Verbena (Glandularia gooddingii)
gooding's verbenaDESCRIPTION: Also called Verbena gooddingii. Annual or Perennial to 1'. Flowers to 1/2" wide, tubular, pink to purple, form headlike clusters. Flowers have 5, joined, notched, petals. Leaves are simple, lobed/toothed, hairy, to 1.5" long. Stems are square. Verbenaceae (Verbena) Family.
NATURAL HISTORY: Flowers bloom winter, spring, and fall.
