Desert Wishbone Bush (Mirabilis bigelovii)

desert wishbone bushDESCRIPTION: Perennial to 2'. Flowers to 3/4" wide, white to pinkish, slightly funnel-shaped. Flowers without petals (sepals look like petals). Leaves simple, smooth-edged, oval to heart-shaped, hairy, to 1.25" long. Stems are weak, very sticky, and form "wishbone" patterns. Nyctaginaceae (Four O'Clock) Family.
NATURAL HISTORY: Flowers bloom spring and fall.
