hopbushDESCRIPTION: Shrub to 12'. Flowers yellowish, small, without petals. Fruit distictive, broad-winged, yellowish to pinkish. Leaves simple, smooth-edged, oblong to linear to 4". Sapindaceae (Soapberry) Family.
NATURAL HISTORY: Poisonous. Flowers February to October. Fruit may be used to substitute for hops.
