DESCRIPTION: WS=0.9 - 1.1" (24-29 mm). Upper surface bright orange with base of wings blackish next to body. Lower surface of hindwing is pale yellow-orange. Underside of head, thorax, and abdomen white. Fringes of wings dark-tipped.
Family Hesperiidae, Subfamily Hesperiinae.
NATURAL HISTORY: Adults fly all year. Larvae feed on grasses (e.g., Bermuda grass)
