DESCRIPTION:
Also known as Sida filicaulis and Sida procumbens. Perennial
to 3'. Flowers (7/8" wide) are yellow. Five flat petals are indented
at tips and are longer than the sepals. Leaves simple, lobed, slightly
folded upward, lance-shaped, dark green, occur along stem, and are up
to 1" long. Stems are erect or sprawling, pinkish, and hairy. Malvaceae
(Mallow) Family.NATURAL HISTORY: Flowers bloom February - April and August - December. |
