DESCRIPTION:
Also designated Condalia lycioides. Shrub to 10'. Flowers whitish
green to less than 1/8" long in cluster. Leaves simple, smooth-edged,
oblong, haired to 3/4" long. Bark gray and very spiny. Rhamnaceae
(Buckthorn) Family.NATURAL HISTORY: Flowers May to September followed by blue-black fruit eaten by birds, especially White-Winged Doves and Gambel's Quail. |
