DESCRIPTION:
WS=1.1 - 1.4" (26-34 mm). Upper surface gray near body with broad,
white median band on both wings. Outer areas of wings are brown with white
spots and the fringes are checkered. Lower surface whitish with dark forewing
patch.
Family Hesperiidae, Subfamily Pyrginae.
NATURAL HISTORY: Adults fly all year, especially in spring and fall. Larvae
feed on mallows.
