DESCRIPTION:
Shrub to 3'. Leaves are simple, lance-shaped, slightly
toothed (or smooth-edged), dark green, and give off a foul odor when crushed.
Flowers are in yellow heads and bloom anytime after rain, but most commonly
in spring. Compositae (Sunflower) Family.NATURAL HISTORY: "The Seri regard this plant as a panacea, claiming that there is nothing that this medicinal herb is not good for" (ASDM 2000). |
