Siphonoglossa (Siphonoglossa longiflora)

DESCRIPTION: Subshrub to 8". Flowers white, tubular to 2" long. Flower has one upper lip that is notched and one lower lip that is 3-lobed. Leaves simple, smooth-edged, lance-shaped, opposite to 2" long. Acanthaceae (Acanthus) Family.
NATURAL HISTORY: Flowers bloom April to October, opening at night and closing the next morning.
