DESCRIPTION:
Also called B. glutinosa.Shrub to 12'. Males and females on separate
plants. Flowers white, in clusters. Leaves simple, toothed, lance-shaped,
shiny, sticky, dark green, to 6" long. Compositae (Sunflower) Family.NATURAL HISTORY: Flowers bloom in summer. As the name suggests, the seep willow occurs in wet areas, but the name is deceptive in that the seep willow is not really a willow (Salicaceae). |
