DESCRIPTION:
Perennial vine. Flowers to 1/2" wide, yellowish-white in center and
purple on tips of petals. Flowers have 5 petals and 5 sepals and occur
in clusters along vine. Vine climbs over shrubs and trees and produces
a milky-white sap. Leaves are simple, smooth-edged, linear to lance-shaped,
to 2" long. Asclepiadaceae (Milkweed) Family.NATURAL HISTORY: Flowers bloom spring through fall. |
